![]() We can’t hide from what is happening in the world. It’s important that we fill our thoughts with God’s Word. Still, how can we do this? We must take control of what we put in our minds. Even if, even when, everything around us tells us to do otherwise. Uncertainty creates anxiety, fear, overwhelm, excessive worries.īut when we put our trust in Christ and set our minds on Him, we can have peace. ![]() In fact, it has quite the opposite effect. And uncertainty usually does not lead us to peace. The news is filled with stories about this pandemic.Īt every corner and with every plan we try to make, we can’t get away from the reality that we are experiencing uncertain times. We can’t get away from what’s going on in our world right now. Our outward situation does not, or rather should not, determine the peace that we experience. This peace doesn’t necessarily correlate to what is going on around us. Perfect peace, which is the peace of God, only comes when our minds are set on Him and when we put our trust in Him.
